"I'm glad you told me they are here. Guards are currently out searching for them," Luner sat back down.
Suddenly a guard rushed in.
"Speak."
The guard panted, "There was no trace of them being there but another attempt was made on Councilman Ember's life last night."
Douglas rubs his temples.
"Go check and see if any other attempts were made over the past month," Luner commands.
The guards goes and does so.

"There were only four of them." Kaladin put in hesitantly. "Two were sick, one was a child, and the fourth was caring for them all. I'm not sure if those were the wolves who attacked."

Luner looked at Kaladin, "What else did you discover?"

"They've been ill for about a month. The two, I mean..." Kaladin said. "And you don't take the ill on stealth missions. They're noisy, slow, and a liability. You don't take children, either, for the same reasons and then some."

"Perhaps it wasn't them then," Douglas suggested.
"You possibly right but if it wasn't the Wolf Hunters who was it," Luner asked.
"Kaladin did you happen to hear any of the wolves's names," Douglas asked.

Kaladin glanced down. "I did, though if it isn't rude, I'd rather them keep some level of confedentiallity. After all, doctors aren't really supposed to disclose that sort of information about their patients, correct?"

"That is true," Douglas bit back a smile.
"Kaladin I just want want to know who is after the life of the council is that so wrong," Luner spoke.

"It's not wrong, but I don't believe those four are after the council, sir." Kaladin replied carefully but confidently, greatly encouraged by Douglas' agreement.

"I understand that," Luner worked to keep his voice even, "but from the reports I have heard the Wolf Hunters are a group of wolves that are assains. I just want to protect my people."

"A noble pursuit, but its dishonorable at the least attacking anybody who is unable to fight back*." Kaladin replied. "Criminal or otherwise."
