He clenched his hands and pushed himself up,gritting his teeth. He looked down,feeling cracks shiver up from his neck and claw their way up to link the deep ones on his neck with the ones spidering along his jaw. "Stupid....I'm so stupid.What the heck." He shook his head,dragon tone raspy,and laid back down,rolling onto his side and curling in as Shade and Fatespeaker tried to get him to move in any other way as he forced his eyes to shut and stay shut. "No....leave me be." He mumbled to the little Shade,pushing him away before Fatespeaker jumped up and started poking his nose with her own. "Rrrrr~!" She made the soft scraping of ice noise at him,trying to get him to get up.

Jason had to be willing then to freeze inside him, to freeze everything inside him. Emotions, tears, memories, anything that made him weak. Because if he was going to play in the Unseelie Court, he had to be made of ice. No, not ice. Like iron.

It would definitely take time to get rid of everything that could be used against him, and by then he might be saved...After all, the Exchange was coming up. At that moment, Tiaothin walked into the room. She blinked, obviously astonished to see him awake, before breaking into a huge grin, fangs shining in the moonlight. "Youre up!" she exclaimed, bouncing over and leaping onto her bed. "Youre awake. Thats a relief. Mab's been annoyed and cranky ever since you collapsed. She thought you were going to sleep forever, and then she'd have a devil of a time explaining your condition to the Seelie courtiers when they come for the Exchange."

He groaned and sat up painfully,holding Fatespeaker as she hissed and tried to stop this girl from bothering Jason the way he was. Shade just curled up under his legs a bit,purring a sound of blizzard wind as he rubbed his frozen frills against Jason's pant legs. "I have a feeling...that I'm going to be exchanged for something." He muttered,not looking at her.

She sniffed, looking at him with slitted eyes. "They're not coming for you. They're here to pass on the Scepter of the Seasons. Summer is finally over, and winter is on the way." She kept jumping around on the bed

"I'm an idiot,sorry. I don't know what that is." He said,wincing everytime the bed bounced. His freckle scales and underwings had turned black. Fatespeaker calmed for a moment before she clambered up onto his shoulder and began nipping at his cheeks to get color back in the freckles but he only poked her gently in the chest to tell her to stop.

Tiaothin yawned and made herself comfortable on his bed. "The Scepter of Seasons is a magical talisman that the courts pass between them with the changing of the seasons," she said, picking at a loose thread on his quilt. "Six months out of the year, Oberon holds it, when spring and summer are at their peak, and winter is at its weakest. Then, on the autumn equinox, it is passed to Queen Mab, to signify the shift in power between the courts. The Summer courtiers will be arriving soon, and we'll have a huge party to celebrate the start of winter. Everyone in Tir Na Nog is invited, and the party will last for days." She grinned and bounced in place, dreadlocks flying. "Its a good thing you woke up when you did, dragon. This is one party you dont want to miss!"

He didn't smile for once as he would have before at her bouncing,the enthusiasm not even stirring a hint of a memory of his little brother Silver. Fatespeaker felt it and nibbled his ear with tiny ice teeth,squeaking softly at him. He gently rubbed her head as she sighed but purred as little Shade was. "Interesting." he said softly with a faint nod.

"C'mon! They're gonna be here soon!"

"I'm a mess." He said softly,Shade looking up at him and sniffing. He shrugged,having the faint memories of the old Shade and dragons where used to the usual fleshy smell.

"Are you coming??" She asked impatiently
