Something about it makes her feel like she's in danger. The feeling is strengthening with each note.

Chelsea looks at Rim, "You sense it too? I have an idea of whose song that is, but we shouldn't be scared of it."

Even with her being reasonable, something about it makes her want to run away. Reasonably, the song isn't scary at all- it's just a simple melody. But, with each note, the sense of danger gets stronger and stronger.

Chelsea takes a deep breath and forces herself to stay there, "Siren please we aren't a threat to you. I... we only want answers. I was cursed and I want to find out how to use my powers or undo the curse. That's why we're here."

The singing doesn't stop or even pause. But, she spots the singer- she's well hidden, but her pale skin and shiny scales across her face make her visible. She doesn't look very fishy, in fact she looks more like maybe she's a human with magic with how humanoid she is.

Chelsea calmly walks over to the siren, "Hi. I'm Chelsea who are you?"

Caught off-guard, the siren stops singing for a moment. She quickly resumes, but at this point Chelsea can feel that the magic isn't getting any stronger- the fear stopped getting worse about a minute ago. It's still there, but it's manageable.

Smiling Chelsea tries not to seem threatening or intimidated, "Your singing is really impressive would you mind teaching me sometime?"

She stops singing. "Why aren't you scared? You should be fleeing." She has a pleasant accent. It's unfamiliar, but is smooth and soft.

"I know a bit about sirens and their songs. Plus," Chelsea pulls out a small earbud, "I used this to protect myself. Sure, I was a little unnerved, but I've been in worse situations. Nothing is scarier than getting hexed for the first time."
