Kaladin seemed to calm down considerably at that. "I understand. We thought you were an assassin. The last group we ran into had bows as well."

Maria tugged on Melany's skirt again.
"What is it Maria," Melany asked sounding much calmer now.
"What about Gavin and Hollow?"
Melany's face was covered by shadows but if Kaladin could see he would have seen she looked haggard and worried.
