Reaching out, Electa touched the side of his face, gently cupping his cheek with her hand. "That was the--nicest, most wonderful--stupidest thing that anyone's ever done for me."

He didn't even flinch at her touch, but rather felt the longing to lean into it. He held back. He smiled a little, that dazzling smile again. It was so rare but it seemed to become a bit more frequent when he was with Electa.

The world went very still around her. She could hear the sound of a distant car passing on the highway; her heart thudded crazily as she stared at him. Electa hesitated. Her head moved a fraction, so that for a wild moment it actually seemed she was going to kiss him.

Then a look that was hard to read flickered through her eyes. Letting her hand fall from his face, she cleared her throat and smiled. "If, um...you still want to hang out with me, that is." Well, that was random

For the moment that she seemed to be about to kiss him, his heart thudded and he felt a weird new feeling inside but then it died away as if it hadn't ever been there when her hand dropped away. His smile wavered. "Heh. I don't have anyone else to hang with."

Silently, Electa finished packing her first-aid kit. "Come on, let's get something to drink," she said.

Standing outside, she fed coins into the vending machine. "What do you want?"

He stayed close to her, though giving her some personal space as to not be a creepo. He shrugged, he didn't do soft drinks or anything like that. He did milk and water like a good boi. But~, he was a little curious as to what other things there where to try.

Well, there was many different kinds of soda, as well as some water

It made him curious, his head tilting a bit like a kittens.

She got herself a Coke, waiting for him to decide

He was mostly curious about the colored energy water. And so he shyly asked if that was alright.
