Jake followed Electa back to the hotel room, and right as she was about to unlock the door, Jake put a hand over Electa's mouth and muttered harshly in her ear, "I swear I'll kill you if you try anything. Just remember, I was an AK, too." He jerks her away, and the key slips out of her fingers and lies on the floor. She realizes that her gun was back in the hotel room...On her bed. The rest of her stuff was back in the room, too. She has no way to protect herself now

Alister was gathering information, and finally he went back to Hannah's apartment. Hannah let him inside and she too was scared, and he explained to her that it wasn't safe to go outside without something to protect themselves.

Alister was oblivious to what was happening with Electra, mostly because he was not only away from her but it wasn't like the had phones to call each other with.

Jake didn't answer any questions that Electa hurled at him. He continued to drive, the bars on either window blocking a full view for Electa
