There's a few large claw marks on the desks and walls. It seems like a large animal might have gotten trapped inside and it panicked.

You don't see anything else.
After about 10 more minutes of following the bulboris, the tunnel slants upwards. You crawl out of the tunnel and find yourself in a woods. Rabi and the female bulbori touch noses one last time before she hops away.
