I decide to remember what she said, assuming that 'Didn' was 'didn't', and feeling a little worried that it's something about not looking back. I try to help Chestnut up first.

Chestnut whimpers slightly, but you both manage to get up. When you look behind you, the ruins and exit were gone. The mountains were barren. You have decided to deny Giulia's quest by not talking to her again. Your leg was sore and wounded, the wind was harsh outside and icy cold. It stung your eyes.

There was a ledge where the ruins once were. The stone path up was now a load of jagged rocks with some space behind them.

You and Chestnut take shelter there. A huge storm blows up overnight and the two of you struggle to sleep. You are sat, resting against the rocks and Chestnut has his front half in your lap.

I sit down and look around to see if there's anything to keep warmer in, huddling closer to Chestnut.

There is not. After the fight, your particularly hungry and thirsty. The wound where the snake had bitten you stung. (one second I have to make up ways for you to find your celestial things >-> Also it does make a difference how you use the water. If anyone else reads this ask for spoilers and I will give you spoilers.)
