"It won't change anything. I don't care what you look like, you have a good personality and your a good person. When we became friends I had no idea what you looked like so why would you think this would change anything?" he turned and looked at you. By now you were far away from the pack. Kody shifted to his human form then stopped walking and pulled you into a hug. He wasn't the slightest bit tense he seemed at ease.

She kept on listening

"Shelby you need to calm down..." Hunter said in a soothing tone.

"WHY SHOULD I?!" Shelby yelled back.

Hunter pretended she didn't say that and continued, "We have a new girl. Where hoping you get along with her that way you'll finally have a friend in the pack." Hunter said casually. Then, you heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

She looked out the window again, letting her hair fall down.
She waited for the knock on her door.

The knock came, "Hey. It's Hunter can we talk for a sec?" he asks from the other side of the door.

``Come on in.`` She called, hopping onto the end of her bed. ``Whats up?``

Shelby and Clyde weren't there just Hunter, "We have a girl in our pack. Her name is Shelby she's... a bit stubborn and she doesn't listen very well but she nice once you get to know her. I wanted to introduce you to her so that maybe she has a friend...?" he said it but it sounded more like a question than anything.

I rolled my eyes and helped him stand up more, "so what are we going to tell Taylor and Jenna" I hissed, looking into the trees and around the area for any enemies of any sort. "And one question why did I shift into Cerebus instead of a bear or something?"

``I'd love to meet her. I'm sure we will get along great.`` She smiled. ``Is she downstairs?``

I hesitated for a moment, slightly caught off guard. But then I embraced him as well. "Thanks, I needed that. I've always been ashamed of my true human form ever since then. I always thought that I had an imperfection that couldn't ever be cured. I wondered if..." I sighed, but continued, "I wondered if I would ever be the same. If I'd ever have another friend. The very first thing I taught myself after that was how to change my appearance," at this I finally gently pulled away, "Then I changed to coywolf and joined the pack... It was hard being the newbie again. The one who betrayed me... her name was Kirna. That's how we met in the first place. She was my first friend at that school, she brought me straight into the loop of things. So I never had experience getting myself in. I decided right then and there I would never be in another 'loop' again. And oh my gosh, why am I being so open?" I rubbed my eyes and stared downwards. "I don't understand... but somehow, you make me feel like all of my past has been wiped away. That none of it matters now, it's just a story to tell." I met his eyes again. "I'm sorry, I'm probably laying a lot on you all at once." I look at him, almost pitifully, reaching up and playing with a lock of my hair that seems to have somehow survived all I'd been through.
