She took out a paperback book since theyre all paperbacks (I did some research and learned that hardback books at hospitals for people with poor mental states are only paperbacks, with hardbacks being banned due to dangers with bludgeoning), and began to read.

There's all sorts of books here. Some are from humans, but many are from magics. There's plenty to read, plus there's a note on the shelf telling that if she wants a book not on the shelf, she can just call and they'll find a copy for her.
