Unfortunetly your magic is capable of freezing water not unfreezing it. When the sun rises the ice will most likely melt. Until then you could explore or try to find another way to get the horse out.

Glory worked on freezing the ropes and wood holding the gate and the gate itself. She then started trying to break the gate, rearing up on her hind legs and smashing her hooves onto the wood repeatedly.

The breaking of the gate causes noise that wakes up one of the intruder. A kind looking intruder but an intruder none the less. He walks towards you noticing the ice on the ropes and wood. After a few more good kicks the gate breaks giving a way for the trapped horses to be free.
