Jax saw her and hung up, giving her a small wave from his spot on the floor, his ice blue eyes revealing how broken he felt as he returned his gaze to the floor in front him, tears falling silently from his eyes.

Jax's eyes widened as he realized who she was. "Emma?" he asked in a disbelieving voice. He hugged her back and buried his face in her shoulder, his whole body shaking as he began crying hard again.
