She hid under a table with a tablecloth. Barely breath. Don't talk. Just a deadly game of hide and seek. Shallower breaths.

She resisted the urge to sigh with relief. She's still here. Her heart was almost jumping out of her chest.

That was stupid. She jumped out from under the table and deflected the beam, unfortunately with her body.

Basil had been grabbing several experimental vials off of a table at this time. She had no idea what they were, but figured 'why not?' She heard the doctor and then did her best to shrink into the shadows. Unfortunately, she dropped one of the three vials she grabbed. She held her breath and waited to see how it would all unfold from here.
