The goat bleets quietly standing in front of two little kids. The other goat male goat bleets as well but not as softly. This one looks a little more familiar then the other three.
"I do believe I know you." Dove says as she looks towards the male

The male looks up at Dove showing you that he is indeed the mountain goat that helped you down the mountain the first time.
The water freezes on the hinges succesfully feezing them in place.
The mare walks over to inspect the hinges. Kicking them once she walks away, "Frozen solid and stuck."
(What material is the gate made of? Metal?)
Glory tried to use her magic to revert the ice back to water or break it. She had hoped that the water went into nook and crannies of the hinges and exacerbated them into weak spots after they became ice.

"It's nice to see you again. Are those your kids?" Dove asked curiously

Unfortunetly your magic is capable of freezing water not unfreezing it. When the sun rises the ice will most likely melt. Until then you could explore or try to find another way to get the horse out.
