"I might just take you up on that offer," Kanin said, smiling at A'ine. Alice looked apprehensively at the lake. "I think I'll do a hard pass," she said. "I really didn't like falling in the water. I mean I really don't understand how swimming works anyways," she said, a confused expression on her face.

(I hate reading my old writing, because it's not....great. XD)

Ember's eyes widened at the sudden compliment, and she, on instinct, turned to look behind her to make sure he wasn't looking at the moon or the lake. Both of which were quite probably because they were behind her, and extremely gorgeous. She turned back to him, not quite sure how to reply. On one hand, if she accepted it as a compliment and he was talking about the lake then she'd sound totally pretentious. On the other hand if she made some stupid comment about how she thought the lake was beautiful then she'd look like a complete newbie at this whole girlfriend thing. Which was completely true. She finally settled on remaining silent, while secretly hoping it was her he was talking about. Stupid lake.
(Honestly Ember is me in this situation. Sorry that she has literally no dialogue.)

Orion sighed. "Sorry, I wish I had more control over my power. My sister could make little bubbles of water around injuries. It was quite soothing, but unfortunately, I kinda suck at the whole powers things," he said, staring at her ankle as if he could wish it better.

A'ine smiled kindly nodding at Kanin. "Of course, Whenever you feel like it just tell me." She said looking at the castle and two dorm buildings.
Alderic smiled at Alice, heaving the bags he was carrying over his shoulders. "Well, it's kinda doing something fun, and about floating a little bit." He said shrugging. "It's hard to explain."

(Ditto. Writing develops.)
Mitch Smile grew slightly as he watched her. "Yeah... I am talking about you." He said sensing her thoughts as he walked closer to the castle, still far off.

Jora smiled slightly. "My mom can do all of these healing methods using her fire abilities. She kept trying to teach it to me..." She said trailing off her smile disappearing as her hand stopped moving and she stared at it. She had no control over it and the few times her mother tried to teach her it always ended poorly.

(And my brain just stopped working... Sorry!)

Kanin dipped his head slightly. "Thanks!" he said, looking over at the lake with a slight smile. "The lake is really pretty," he said. Alice looked up at Alderic. "Uh, do you want me to carry one of those bags?" she asked. "It's really weird to not constantly do chores y'know," she added.

Ember blushed and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, I'm really bad at flirting," she said. "But that's really nice of you to say," she said, shooting the lake a victorious glare.

Orion saw the smile fade from Jora's face and grew flustered. "My sister really sucked at controlling her powers y'know," he said. "She tried to heal me once and she somehow....flooded...the entire house?" he said with a shrug and a grin. "She's way too energetic. But she can control it pretty well now."

(Soooo I is worse person EVER! I'm SUPER SORRY I'm so bad at getting on and time management and all... How have you been?)
A'ine smiled warmly. "It's pretty underneath as well, it has its own ecosystem under the waves. The animals and plants all living together, and it's so clean, no unnatural pollution that could poison the life down there... It's one of the loveliest lakes I have been in." She said looking back down as she realized she had been rambling a bit.

Alderic smiled watching A'ine talk about the lake. She really seemed to love talking about her homeworld. His smile switched from caring to appreciative as he looked back at Alice. "They aren't too heavy, but the help would be nice if you're sure." He said pausing for a moment, glancing at the almost clear sky before looking back at Alice. He stayed wary of A'ine in case she appeared to fall over.

Mitch smiled as he looked at the moon, continuing to walk. "Ah, it is more than a kind thing to say, milady, it is the truth." He said holding his hands behind his back. "As for the talent of thy flattery, I show my utter protest to that statement. I find that your less flirtatious personality has quite the opposite effect as one would think." He said, in a slightly poetic voice, glancing back at her with a small smirk as he lifted his hand to brush some of her hair behind her ear.

Jora snorted slightly glancing up as she saw figures approaching in the distance, still a good bit off at least. "Well, when a home floods it can still be recovered..." She said, her voice sad and slightly bitter towards herself, her hair covering her face from his view. "Fire destroys everything in its path..." She whispered to herself, rubbing her ankle a little more.

(Don't worry, I haven't been on here in ages XD)
Alice grabbed the bag and hefted it onto one shoulder. She turned to look out over the lake, rather impressed by the expanse of open, non-frozen water.

Ember had to refrain from ducking away from him in surprise, but she smiled slightly at him. "Well, I mean, people have written poetry about me, so I must be somewhat great," she said, and then grinned slightly as she added. "Of course, it was about a boy who chopped my head off with a sword, but I'll take what I can get," she said, realizing that she had utterly steered the conversation off course, and it really wasn't romantic at all, but she really did like the poem.

Orion shook his head. "That's not true," he said. "Where I come from, the forests were giant sequoias, and the fire would scorch their bark, but the trees would still live. In fact, they needed the fire to spread their seeds. There would be no forest without the fire," he said, reaching tentatively for her hand, but trying not to surprise her.

(Well, I timed my return just right!)
Alderic smiled at Alice. "Thank you for the help." He said continuing the walk down the cliffside. "I do enjoy swimming to an extent. I prefer more tropical waters than a lake though, it's a little chilly for me." He said laughing at himself. His monster form hating getting into cold water, it felt so dangerous.
(Don't really know what to say to Alice and Kanin.)

Mitch smiled kindly for a moment before she added to her poetry comment. He couldn't help the laugh that just exploded out of him. "Tis true, milady. That poem is not very flattering in the least." He said still laughing under the words. "Perhaps she'd like me to attempt to make a better one for you?" He asked smiling at her his blue eyes almost sparkling in the moonlight."

Jora shook her head slightly, her hair barely moving as she did. "Yes, but start a fire in a pine forest or a town and nothing remains." She said sighing her voice shaking a bit. "I know I'm just dangerous and pretty worthless so why don't we change the subject?" She asked turning her head to look slightly away.

(I completely forget who was roomed with who.)
