I'd look down at her, seeing that she was resisting her tears. "I'll be here for you then." I'd continue to hug her, rubbing the back of her head. "Just let it out...It will be better that way..." My voice was soothing, very quiet and gentle, unlike my usual normal voice.

He shook his head. "I'm sorry for bothering you," he said again. "I'll let you go." He took a deep shaky breath, reluctant to actually hang up but not wanting to bother her any longer.
