Quetzal smiles as she responds, "I'm doing great, thanks for asking. On the topic of what I think of the school, if I was still in the position I had been in around seven years ago, I would say that this school is a great place to learn more about the other races in terms of finding out strengths and weaknesses and figuring out how to use it against them." Quetzal realizes this probably isn't the right way to lead a conversation and so she turns her point to the present. "As of now, I think this is a great place to hang out with those we normally wouldn't be socially accepted to hang out with."
She elaborates, "I mean, I never thought I'd be able to meet up with an elf before. I'd like to know more about the other races' culture, their art and how they think life should be run among other things, and this is a great opportunity to do so. This is the kind of once in a lifetime experience I've never thought could come true." She catches herself and backs off before she could ramble on more and cause the elves to be even more wary and hesitant about her.
"What about you? What do you think of the school?" From Quetzal's experience, if you ask the right question, others will talk more about themselves or what they knew. Hopefully, she can learn a bit about these elves.

Hmm they shay looking at each other then they answer we feel like everyone is tense right now but once we get used to it we'll all become friends and we can have some real fun they say giling at eachother ...

Speech : Thank you guys for all coming your queen and kings are all ver delighted about your coperation and and willingness to try . Their will be a couple ground rules No fighting their will be traning and stuff but no fighting over anything she states sternly but then her face calms as she goes over the dorm situation you guys will be mixed and no switching so try to get along their will be two dorm aras one for boys and one for girls no wandering in the middle of the night you guys will have break time to mingle wth othe races and you guys will be in classes together .....she goes through all the little details and lets everyone find their rooms and get settled .....

Quetzal listens well to the Headmaster, taking note of the rule she stresses and looking slightly uncomfortable when told the students were split based on gender - based on preference, female's their go to even if that isn't what had been assigned at birth.
When the Headmaster stops lecturing, Quetzal decides to mingle with the elves for a few moments longer. She's dying (figuratively) to know, "What type of fun? Can I join in?" Quetzal's eyes light up as she thinks along the lines of having fun by playing games such as chess or golf, things she never got to play with Frances or anyone else.
