All of the chariots were suitably fashioned to their districts and tributes, but the chariot of District 10 stood out in a way that none of the others did. Instead of the typical clean wood, it was covered in sheep's wool, as were the harnesses of the horses pulling it. Attached to the browband of each horse's bridle were horns, one set of them small and curving gently like the stubbed horns of a female goat and the other large, curling ram horns that grew upward until they could curve safely above the horse's head, between his ears. The ears of both horses had had extra hair attached to make them look a bit fluffier than they were to try and give the impression of being less maintained. Their fur along their whole bodies, actually, seemed a little more grungy than it might have normally, and there was fake mud around their ankles, as if they had been living in a field unattended for some time. Also attached just on the inside of each horse's foot was a small bag of seeds, a little pouch of water just under it, and each time the feet of the horses came down against the ground some of each came out. Genetically engineered for such a purpose, the seeds sprouted into a sparse layer of grass with the water for the chariot to drive over, giving it the allusion of driving perpetually over a field and spreading food for the livestock constantly, but the grass shriveled away into nothing after just a minute or so in order to make sure the way was left clear for the remaining two chariots.
The tributes in the chariot had vastly different outfits that still seemed to match together perfect. District 10's female tribute, was in a golden two-piece dress that made her look like a fabled mermaid with the way it clung to the curve of her hips before fanning out at the bottom and the way the top piece exposed her stomach. There was a tail coming seamlessly from the back of the bottom piece of the dress, long a slim with a tuft of hair at the end exactly like that of a cow, and she had the horns of a bull coming from her forehead to match, both in shades of brown and black. The bottom of the horns blended into her black hair, which was done up in a combination of little braids and pieces left to hand normally, though on closer inspection there were actually arranged in a complex pattern. Her ears had been changed so they were layered, looking much more animalistic than regular human ears. She carried a pitchfork in her left hand, and the final piece of the outfit was large wings attached to her back that were almost as long as she was tall and thrust out on both sides. They were shaped to have the color and texture of fresh leaves in spring, the veins standing out clearly in beautiful detail. Her outfit clearly was meant to represent all the different forms of livestock that could be found in District 10, and her male counterpart was her shepherd.
He wore a typical farmer's outfit and hat, all in shades of tan and brown, with a vest belted closed around his waist. His sleeves were rolled up, and there was dirt smeared around his eyes to showcase how he had been working on the farm to keep the livestock healthy. Up around his legs to his hips and lower back curled vines with little leaves on them. They seemed to sprout from the chariot beneath his feet, which had a layer of fake grass growing on it that lasted longer than the grass constantly growing and fading under the horses and chariot, though they didn't enter the space of the female tribute. His blond hair, what could be seen of it under his hat, was grungy as well to give the impression of long hours under the sun, working in the fields and dirt. Finally he carried a shepherd's staff made of green and gold that tied in with the green and gold of his female counterparts outfit. She is the livestock and he is her shepherd, working together through every day.

Can we post without our partner since they aren't getting back to us? If we don't post it tonight and it's our partners fault because they aren't responding to our messages, are we disqualified? Because I do not want to be disqualified because of my partner, Crystal25152

Iden stared up at the massive Arabian horses that would be leading him and Odila into the stadium. They were tall, majestic beasts that had the power to trample him with a single hoof. The horses were pure white thoroughbreds, raised and trained especially for this occasion. Their bridles were covered in shiny jewels that sparkled brightly as they moved. Miserable filth, he muttered at the horses, sneering at them. Odila stared at him in disgust, wondering how she was stuck with such a crude child. She pulled her dress down at the front a bit, preparing to put on a show for the audience.
Iden clambered onto the chariot, barely able to reach. He accidentally kicked one of the lowly stable hands who tried to help him. As if hed require assistance from a commoner. He fidgeted in his custom made armour. The plating was made of gold and encrusted with sapphire and ruby. It was terribly difficult to move in, but his stylist told him that hed get pity votes from the people. Theyd see him, such a young boy; all dressed up for war and cry their little hearts out. The most annoying part was the wings though. They were incredibly heavy with their diamond encrusted tips. His cape was a golden colour and shimmered like the real thing, although Iden thought a cape made of real gold would be ridiculous and had no idea why his stylist had tried to make it look legitimate. Thankfully he hadn't been forced to wear a real golden cape, or he might have fainted under the weight of it all. Despite that though, the wings weren't the best part of his regalia. No, despite being young, Iden knew he was a refined gentleman, just like all of his ancestors had been. He demanded a cane from his stylist so that everyone, from the capitol to the puny District 12, would know how high up he was. He received his request, a silver cane encrusted with one single lump of Jadeite, the rarest of the gems. Maybe if those asinine miners worked harder they could find more. But then again, his costume wouldnt be so special if they did.
He looked over to Odila, who didnt seem nervous at all. Not that hed expected that from a volunteer career. Hed simply gotten lucky to get picked within his first year. Odila had to wait longer for her turn in the games. But she was finally there and looking as posh as ever. She was wearing a trailing gown of shimmering silk, covered in gold and glitter. Her stylist had purposely given the dress a low neckline to add to her appeal. Her hair was done up like a princesss would be, and to prove it, a platinum crown rested atop her head, the diamonds imbedded in it a sign of her wealth. She sported the same wings that Iden had, although didnt look as uncomfortable. On her back sat a peculiar creature. Animals immediately defined someone as from the better off districts, as keeping them was hard work and cost money. Neither Odila nor Iden knew what the thing was, but it was completely colourless, which according to the stylist, was very rare. Odila also had a pink parasol that clashed with her clothing, but since Iden had a cane, she had to show her lady likeness in a way too.
The crowd gasped as they saw the pair come in. They pointed at the platinum crown on Idens head, calling him the baby prince, as he was very young. He grinned at them all, and some of them dabbed at their eyes. Hmph, he thought rather devilishly. Perhaps I can play my cuteness to my advantage. He clutched at his cane of his clothing tightly, trying to look meek but brave. The crowd roared. Odila smiled and waved to everyone, bending over so people could see more of her skin than they needed to. She was especially well liked by the male viewers. The creature on her back jumped around and performed tricks which captivated the younger members of the Capitol. She kissed it on the nose before hugging Iden. A unanimous squeal came from the crowd as the two of them, who barely knew each other, acted like siblings. Brat, she muttered at him. Skank, he said back, grinning through his insult. It was lucky that they werent miked, or the Hunger Games might have been over for Iden and Odila before they knew it.
