"Thank you." She whispered. She almost instantly fell asleep as she pulled the blanket up to her neck.

Zach was glad to be of some help, and he lays down next to Selene, falling asleep slowly, the soothing warmth and comforting crackling of the fire making him feel right at home. It seemed like he had only slept for thirty seconds before he found himself waking again, the sun blinding him as it fell through the door's cracks. Zach grumbled and got up, stretching and looking around.
The first thing he noticed is that Ray and Charlotte were gone. The next was that the elf, Samuel if he was remembering right, was awake.

She slowly woke up before shielding her eyes. "I'm hating the sun right now..." She sat up as she saw Zach was already awake.

"Yes, the bright light most call the sun has offended both of our eyes this lovely morning." Zach deadpans. No sooner had he said that and Ray and Charlotte came back.
"Hey guys! I was thinking of rabbit soup for breakfast?" Charlotte says, holding up the rabbit in her hand, " Ray helped me catch it. "
The vampire smiles, "Good to see that you are all awake and well."
The elf got up. "Was wondering where you went."
"This little one wakes with the sun." Ray says, walking over to Sam and giving him a kiss. Charlotte squeaks and drops her rabbit, covering Zach's eyes. Zach chuckles and in return, covers her eyes.
They wait for a minute, and by then Ray and Sam were not kissing any more.
"Are they done kissing?" Zach asks Charlotte, mostly implying that he wanted Charlotte to take her hands off.
"I don't know, you put your hands over my eyes." Charlotte says. Both wait patiently for the other to take their hands off first.
"Fine, on three. One, two, three." Zach says, and Charlotte and him took their hands back to themselves.

"No it's too early." She laid back down again and used her blanket to cover her eyes. "I'm not ready to be a living part of society yet."

Zach chuckles, letting Selena be. "How can I help?" Zach asks.
Sam answers, "You can go get some blackberries. There should be a patch further up the mountain." Zach nods to let the elf know that he had heard and understood before going to do.
Ray help Charlotte skin the rabbit. Charlotte washed her hands before shaking Selene gently to rouse her, "Pssst. Selene? We're going to cook over the fire, you might want to move. Ray said that if you still want to sleep or avoid people, you can sleep on the bed until you feel ready to face the world." Charlotte beams.

"I'm going outside and avoiding people." She shapeshifted to her wolf form and stalked out of the door. "I'm going to be in the woods not being a functioning member of society if you need me!"

"Okay! Later, gator!" Charlotte says.
Zach comes back to find that a stew had started and the rabbit was cooked.
"Smells delicious." Zach says, handing the blackberries to Sam. Samuel smiles and places the blackberries into a bowl.
"Thanks. It's a family recipe." Samuel says.

Selene breathed in the fresh air and she felt her tension and stress melt off of her. She laid down and crossed her front legs. "This is nice. I don't have to worry about anything, and my stress is almost gone."

Charlotte, Ray, and Sam soon finished the soup. Zach offered to get Selene, but Charlotte said that Selene was not wanting to be a part of society yet. Samuel hands out the rabbit stew.
