Cricket falls back more to hide his presence further, watching the man.

Eventually the man and horse get to the beach and the man dismounts grabbing the rope bridle. He ties it to a tree that he can find with a very strong knot.

Cricket watches the man and comes as close as he dares to the horse now tied up, doing his best to stay out of sight.

The horse looks in Cricket's direction and nickers, "Run get away from here or they'll catch you to."

Cricket bit onto a sturdy twig, careful not to snap it, and prepared himself to be a distraction.

"They are very strong and no I can't chew through them Ive tried though."
A dog looks in Cricket's direction and stalks toward him.

"They're very clever and strong too. They talk about going farther inland when the snow melts so they can repair their ship. But they found this shiny rock and got real excited they say there might be more," The horse answers.
The dog howls and about ten more come bounding out and run after Cricket.
