Alec chuckled lightly as well as Gale's explanation made total sense. He looked at the other's face as they walked on. "Wool socks do not sound very comfortable. But I guess if it serves its practical use..." The elf glanced up as he heard a bird singing up in the trees above them. "I don't think your clothes would fit me very well. But I suppose there is no harm in trying." His face grew even more red as he found himself trying to press closer to the other's warmth without seeming.... odd.

"I think I might have some that are too small for me to wear anymore...but I'm not a hundred percent sure about that." Gale said blushing sharply as the elf pressed his shoulder again his own. So this was alright? He looked at the elf a moment a small shy smile on his lips. To be honest this was nice, he didn't want it to end. If he was a bit braver he would take it to the next step though as it was he was hardly brace enough to keep his hand about the elf as it was. Maybe given a bit of time it would be a bit better and somewhat easier to make these types of decisions.

The elf shifted slightly in the human's embrace from the side. He bowed his head slightly, hoping Gale had not seen his blush. Or maybe he'd thought it was just the cold turning his cheeks into that rosy color. He could feel some affection rising in his chest, but he was too shy and nervous to let himself figure out what it meant. He had never had good luck with romance. He'd never really been in a relationship, period. And since Gale was human, that could pose problems. Elves had longer lifespans than humans. He never really thought about it, but since it was now on his mind, he realized he didn't want to outlive whomever became his significant other. He swallowed as he saw the forest start to thin out up ahead. They'd reached the road.

"And we still have three or so minutes to wait." Gale said with a warm smile. "I guess we could just sit and wait." Though he knew that if they did that it would probably lead to something neither of them would want. "You know...that little walk was nice." He said trying to break the silence though his cheeks grew really red as he did. Slowly he turned to face the elf. "It was even nicer since I got to walk with you."

Alec felt his face warm up to an almost unbearable temperature as he listened to Gale speak. He still had his hands in his pockets, but he pulled them out just so he could fiddle with his fingers. "R-really? You liked walking with me that much?" He practically whispered. He suddenly felt bashful. It was a huge compliment that Gale had given him, and it made him feel lighter than air. He gave a soft smile.

"Of course, what trip out through a beautiful display of art that an equally as charming person created wouldn't be wonderful." Gale smiled. He never found himself to be great with words though those just seemed to fit is all. "And the snow is just beautiful this time of day. It really brings out your eyes."

Upon realizing that Gale was referring to his plants filled with colorful, magical lights, he swelled with pride. He always did those, every single year at Christmas. He worked hard on them. He turned bright red at the compliments about him and his eyes. "Oh, th-thank you," he murmured shyly, trying to hide his face from the other. "You're really warm." He wanted to smack himself. Gale had said all that stuff about him, and that's all he managed to say? Something he'd already said before?

At the comment he chuckled lightly before drawing the elf closer to them so that their shoulders touched. Suddenly he felt really giddy almost as if he was a child again. "Why thank you." He said puffing his chest out a bit with pride. "I'm glad I could help in keeping you warm we wouldn't want you freezing to death would we? Why look at you face! It all red!" He teased lightly knowing his own face was really red as well. "You know Alec...I-um think I-that I...I-" he was cute off in his stuttering by the bright blue car that pulled up as it was coming from the city.
"Mr. Summers?" The young woman driving asked. "I'm your uber! Hop on in and we will get you to where you're going!"

A grin slowly spread across his face as he was pulled back into Gale. He covered his face with his hands when he was being teased for how red it was. He felt kind of embarrassed to be called out on such a childish concept of blushing. "You're red, too," he mumbled. He looked up at Gale when he was addressed by name. He found Gale's stuttering cute, especially since the human didn't strike him as the stuttering type. But then his attention was diverted away as a bright blue car pulled up. He quickly shrugged Gale off himself, suddenly feeling self conscious. "Thank you," he said as he hurried towards the car.
