She held up her own as well, getting up and stretching before turning and striding towards the elevator.

Jake followed her, his eyes tired. He yawned. 'Man,' he thought. 'Today's been one hell of a day.'

She was ready to crash as soon as she got to her room. The fact that the hotel was so empty bothered her but she couldn't investigate till morning.

Jake stayed up late into the night, thinking about his beloved plane.

Kayla slept well, but then the nightmares started. She saw fire, and the forest, and a pair of glinting eyes. She bolted awake suddenly, screaming.

Luke woke up to a scream. He turned to see the time. 2:03.

Jake was still awake at the time the scream sounded. He rushed out of his suite to see what was going on.

Quinn slept soundly, deeply, through the scream.
