amy caught knuckles looking at her, "hi, what's your name?" she asked, i rolled my eyes and flicked my ears.

"The name's Knuckles the Echidna," The echidna said with a firm nod. He decided it was okay to trust her, since Sonic and Tails obviously did. "Guardian of Angel Island,"

amy nodded, "so what do you do for fun?" she asked taking a step toward me, i sigh and go over to tails and stand by him.

Knuckles shifted awkwardly, once again uneasy at being put on the spot. He wasn't used to being asked a lot of questions. "For fun? You mean like a hobby? Er... I go treasure hunting sometimes..." He mummbled.

Satisfied he sprang up and burrowed underground. He resurfaced a moment later, holding something. He trotted back to the group, setting a few crystaline shards on the ground.
