"Has it even once occurred to you that we may have deserved it? Pride comes before a fall." Tenchi muttered, green eyes flickering away from them all. "I'm just saying, if we go around making the same mistakes we did long ago, the result will be the same- We'll be turned against. Maybe anonymity is a good thing for us."

"Sure." Azalea didn't argue, she tugged lightly on her white tank top, still not used to her short flowered skirt. "And these clothes are terrible! What happened to capes, togas, and..." she glanced down at the end of the skirt. "... longer clothes? Anyway, what mistakes we made might have something to do with this, but I could also be someone else who did this to us..."

"I miss my toga." Aura pouted, still in her slight childness

"I miss my dress and cloak. But maybe he's right, maybe it's for the better that we hide out identities." Sighing, she remembered her trips around the world.

"Remember how I used to act like a child in need of certain herbs whenever I met a farmer? If they bid me well, I would give them a gift of plants never to die. So being anonymous might be appropriate." She frowned. "Although I don't know if helping farmers is really a thing these days. Are farmers a thing?"

"I dunno.." Aura shrugged, clearly getting into a bad habit of floating. "The most I'd do is one a hot day, I'd make a really cold breeze, they'd get a blanket and get all cozy, and I'd stop the breeze."

"You're just looking for things to complain about now." Tenchi murmured under his breath, a hint of irritation creeping into his voice. "Food has to come from somewhere, I'm sure farms are still a thing. Maybe that's where I'll find..." He trailed off with a frown. His most common gift had always been an affinity for the earth, which made farming easier for those who carried it. What had his favored taken to calling themselves? It had never been his name for them- opting to simply call them his favored- but he had found himself liking it after a while. "Earthmates..." He breathed, the name returning to him. He did hope they were still around in some form.

I bowed my head, embarrassed that Chi scolded me. "I was joking anyways. I'm just.... It's sad. So much is just gone....." I felt dizzy, and sat down in the grass, not looking at anyone.

"You alright?" Aura asked, hovering to make it look like she was hanging by a tree.

He sighed softly, walking towards Cerise and extending a hand towards her to help her back to her feet- and support her once she was if she needed it. "A lot has changed. It's going to take time to adjust and figure out what our places are now. Let's just... focus on finding the relics, after that we can figure out our next step." A small pause. "As long as it isn't smiting anyone. I'm still not allowing that." His mouth turned up in a slight smile.

I accepted the help after a light chuckle. I wiped my face with my other hand and leaned against the rocks. "So... Where should we look?"
