Ok so here is something to think about

I have brown hair and brown eyes

My son bio dad has brown hair hazel eyes

My husband has blond hair blue eyes

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!!??

My son has dirty blond hair hazel eyes

My daughter has blond hair blue eyes

The don't even look like half siblings and both of them are blond!

I mean my son should have brown hair brown eyes, and my daughter should have dirty blond hair and hazel eyes. o.o

Pick a pair, though I do have a proper answer: People all have what is basically a hidden gene. A kid is basically made with a randomised picker, with a hair color that is most likely to be a main gene of either parent, but with a small chance to be the secondary gene, and the chance is greater if you both have the same color secondary/hidden gene. Its kinda the same with eye color. There is also a scientific term for the secondary gene thing, which I have forgotten. My parents both had a brown hair, and I ended up with bright red hair, so I studied the topic for a little bit when I was younger. I hope this helps a little :D
