Shadow relaxed a bit. He looked over at Skit and tilted his head.

Swordfern shook her head, not sure what to think. Not entirely trusting the Lores, she turned away to go hunt.

The large grey black wolf lowered his head again and tucked his tail in summation. "Anubis, ma'am." He said trying to keep his voice down. "I came from a long lost pack, Sunbreak, we called it. It died out when the winter came. I'm all that is left unless there are others that lived that I didn't know about. I have been with out a pack for a long time now I promise I bring you no harm. I just smelled the others and lost myself for a moment. If I'm not welcomed I'll leave."

Shadow looked at the newcomer and stored the name in his memory banks. Hmmmm......... Sunbreak....

Noal nodded then met up by Venom,"Lets go." The black wolf lead the way out of camp, into the forest. "So. How's it going in Lore Pack?"

Far, far away from the rallying packs, two other wolves hunkered down in a large bolt hole dug in the deep snow. One a small female pup and the other a massive, fully-matured male. The male lay with his back against a thick sheet of bark, propping it up to keep the fierce outside wind from seeping in through the entrance.

"Ignotia, just how far do we have to go before we find anyone else? It's been three moons since we've seen anyone other than each other," the salt and pepper pup asked gently with a sadness-soaked voice, snuggling up to Ignotia and basking in the warmth he exuded, "How do you deal with this loneliness all the time?"

"I don't know, Desdemona, I really don't know. I never know the answer to that question, there are so few of us left now," he sighed forlornly, "It's just something you get used to."

Ignotia laid his muzzle on top of her body to keep her as warm as possible, "Try to get some sleep. Growing pups need as much rest as they can get, especially ones as small as you."

"Shush up, you!" Desdemona yawned, " 'm not small, and don't call me that! You know I prefer to be called Dessie!"

"Sure you aren't," the male smiled, "Sweet dreams, kiddo."

As the younger drifted through her dreams, Ignotia sighed again. He stayed up late, wishing to see the beautiful moon hidden behind the ever-falling snow that plagued the land.

Uru looked at Anubis. "Welcome to the Whispers pack den area. I am Alpha female Huruma. My Beta is Althea." she said, smiling. "Althea, make sure Anubis feels at home, i wouldn't want him to feel unwelcomed." she said, smiling as she turned and looked at Althea. She smiled at her.
(Uru doesn't do this alot, so this should be considered very strange to the pack.)

Skit saw how Uru was acting and she tilted her head. "Uh oh, Uru has a plan." she said to herself before trotting to Swordfern. "Stay a minute, i need to talk to you. I can really trust you with this." she said, trotting to her den which was farther from the rest. She turned back to Swordfern.

"Thank you,Alpha Huruma." Anubis said tilting his head to her. "And thank you Beta Althea, goddess of the hunt by what the humans used the name for. Very suitable for a wolf of your standing." He smiled weakly wagging his tail lightly. "It was a pleasure meeting the both of you."

Uru turned back to Anubis. "Pleasure's all mine." she said, then walked back to Anubis. "Actually, i'd like to talk to you, privately in my den." she said, turning to her den, which was the bigger. She smiled slightly, more of a smirk than a smile. Her thoughts were racing with what the future of the pack would need.

"All-all right." Anubis said following her. "Yes? Is something the matter Alpha? As I said I promise to leave as soon as you want me to. I won't ever come back! I just want to sleep in a den for the night and then I'll go on my way."

Uru looked at Anubis. "I want you in my pack." she said. "Whats your chosen rank? Hunter, or warrior?" she asked. "I know, its straight forward but thats what i teach my pack members." she said, smirking still.
