The call was directed straight over to Rhys' phone since the other lines were busy. "911 what's your emergency?" He asked in a rather huffy voice.

Jace Mason



"Ugh, Never mind. He got away." I'd say, a bit disappointed. "It was that Night thief you wanted, the bat. He got trapped in his own trap, i'll call again when i see him, he assaulted a woman i was with."

"Is that all you called to say? You do realize that a false call to police is punishable by jail time?" Rhys said.

I'd sigh. "No, he tried to harm the person i was with, and i pinned him. He flew into a trap and trapped himself. And as soon as i called you, he freed himself of the net and flew away." I'd sigh. "This is not a false call."

I eye the unusual device in his hand, what was it? I cautiously approach and press my ear up to it as Jace did. I heard a man talking intimidating on the other end.
"N-no! No please don't take him away he saved my life!" I whimper, shock washing over me. Were all creatures this hostile toward one another in the city?

He stopped walking for a moment. "Ma'am I'm not talking about taking the man I'm speaking with away. I'm just warning him that if he calls in another call like this then I will have no choice but to arrest him. It's the law I'm sorry."

Rare put a paw on april's leg. "What are they talking about?"

I lean down to Rafe and explain to him the conversation.
"You and Jace are the only ones who have ever interacted with me outside my tribe so you could say I am a little clingy I guess..." I shrug, shyly laying my ears down.

Jace Mason



I'd sigh. "Sorry about the call, i will go now." I'd hang up the call. "We should get to the house, before that bat comes back." I'd say, a bit tired.

"Are all of you city beings so hostile? You want to throw each other in cells because one called for help and karma hit? Others even want to set traps and throw you in the ocean to drown...?" My voice shakes as I find myself ever filled with fear. "It's so cruel..."

I'd sigh. "The police takes alot of calls everyday for more dangerous situations, so if it's a call they can't do anything about it's pointless..." I'd say, sighing. "Let's get going, before it get's dark."
