"Wow, that looks cool. Wonder if there is a prize- would we be allowed to enter anyway?" Zac lookeda at the poster with great curiosity.

"Talent show? I remember being entered in some of those when I lived with humans. I won a couple, too. However, most of the time a human had to sign something for the Sylesti to be able to participate." He directed that last part as an answer to Zac's question, "And, even if we can enter it, what would be the use of it? Unless there's food as a prize. We have no use for money, it's not like shop owners will let stray Sylesties buy items in their shops. It may be a fun activity, in any case."

Arrow slowly leaped onto the dumpster and was surprised to see a group of sylesties, some of which he had never seen before. There was something like a cat, his family once had a stray cat but it ran away, and a giant bird Arrow had seen flying over his home before, but other than that, these were completely new to him. Arrow wiggled forward to get a closer look and knocked a glass bottle off the lid of the dumpster. Woops

Zac span round before the bottle even smashed. He saw a sylesti and in one swift movement leapt and tackled it to the ground where he stood over it growling fiercly.

Before Arrow knew it another Zolnixi came at him and he was pinned. Arrow yipped in surprise and struggled to get free. He couldn't. Arrow's mind began to race, thinking of maneuvers to get free, so of course, he played dead. :P no fighting skill lol

Zac stared at the dead nixi. No not dead, it's cheast was heaving. Zac climbed off, "up," he commanded.

Arrow saw his chance and swiped at the zolnixi's leg, trying to knock him down.. It didn't work since the other was smart so Arrow growled and slowly stood up, though the growling wasn't coming from his mouth, it came from his stomach. He glanced at the rest of the group and realized there wasn't really a strong reason to be hostile, "who are you guys?"

Magic had watched the scene play out, and was wondering how there could be so many new encounters in one day. In any case, he was polite and answered when the new Zolnixi asked who they were, "I am Magic, but I'll let the others answer for themselves. Who might you be? On a different note, playing dead usually doesn't work unless you hold your breath." He looked at the Zolnixi curiously, wondering why he had kept breathing during his attempt at seeming dead.

Arrow stared at the bird. He had nice feathers. What would he taste li- Nope don't think that he told himself, though his belly gurgled again. "Hey, I'm Arrow, and yeah... I guess your right," he tried to act cool and smooth. "Where's your home," he asked, trying to make conversation.

Magic chuckled lightly, glad that Arrow took the comment lightly, "I don't really have a home, but I've been staying in a tree in a park nearby. Though, something happened today that makes me cautious of returning to that place." He glanced at Ali and Spring to see if they understood that he was talking about the Sylesti gang. Looking back at Arrow, he continued, "You seem to be hungry, unfortunately, I do not have anything to offer you. I apologize for that."
