Ruinia

Sure a spells tournament sounds fine however I still would like normal gym to happen and the area match to be a minor part that occurs during festival.

Everyone:

Okay so we want boarding schools more than not? That is why I was giving the option of both....if you want like pranking and stuff we could have like a school lock down for orientation and a few events and thus have the best of both worlds also if you are dead set on this begin a boarding school we do have dorms aslong as you give a good enough reason you can have one of them rooms or apartments. However if EVERYONE wants boarding school how about we live at school but come summer and vacation times we have the option of going home?

When something is summoned all you need to do is brake the seal. Dares should be an official thing, get a teachers notice, set a field preform the dare assuming it's lie a duel thing and not a see who can steal the teachers favorite pen without getting caught.

Hunter that is a great idea I would love school trips, I don't know where but I would like them also yes you can be a teacher.

Alfred: Eeee you know Hellsing Umm Integra is called Sir because she is a knight. But Ragnaroc probably wouldn't mind Sir or Ma'am also by title would be acceptable.

Ragnaroc(I will name her something else later maybe): Watches the giant hound bound about. "I is stupid." She repeats his statement and watches as the girl untransforms. "You cannot preform summons, give me a coloring book for your resume and cannot speak proper grammar. I should simply kick you out....however you did summon a non-beserk demon, a rather hard feat... though I wonder why you keep bringing my counter parts to this plain." Her eyes shifts to the demon specimen, a smirk spreads over her features. "Demon, until this one proves himself able I will not allow him to teach summoning as he will certainly summon something that will devour the class. However you are a creature of summon perhaps you would like to proctor the class instead?" A small dangerous smile creeps over her face transforming her feature. "I will need proper credentials of course. Can you do that? or is it beyond your reason?"

Well Ma'am In hind sight, summoning would be quite a disaster for me to teach, as I've said it has never been my strong point. My only successful summoning spell has been Hunter.

Perhaps I would be more suited to teach Illusion? My Illusion spells are *if I may say so* quite advanced.

*Eyes suddenly go dark and the room darkens for no apparent reason*

"Now, behold my hidden powers!"

*A pale green mist surrounds the area and engulfs Alfred's body. It spikes upwards and turns jet black before slowly fading to reveal a large dragon where Alfred was just standing*

"What do you feel of my power now? *smirks*

I'm also fine with boarding school.

I'm fine with normal school as well.

So I am fine with either.

Ragnaroc,
Okay! That sounds cool~<3

Everyone,
After a few talk with my RP-er friend, she did appeal to me with a few of interesting ideas about boarding school, I vote for boarding school with a few days of going home, like every semester or something.

Oh, since there will be other basic class in this RP, what will they be? Like Math and PE, what else?

Also, do you think each student should receive all 8 magic class lessons? Or just a few chosen one, if so, how many?

Another question is should the wizards all use wands or not. Or it could be an option between the two, another idea is a personalized 'magic item'. Like it could be in a form of any object but they could enhance your magical ability. This idea should resonates with the enchanting class.

I would still like our homes to be somewhere we can get to them for a few days and maybe head back to on vacations. Please note your feeling on this in your next posts. Nevertheless boarding school it is!

Also does anyone else(Alfred, Hunter or myself) want to have/be a teacher or is everyone just okay with having one student character?

To Ruinia's Questions

I assume not all the students will take all eight of the magical courses since they only need to specialize in what they came for. I mean why would a summoner want to take alteration that is outside their field, they could if they were interested but I am sure some just want to hone their one family trait, master it and move out into the world verses over burdening themselves with several types of magic. All of the basic courses ranging in Fields of math, science, history of earth, and language mostly likely English, would be mandatory as they are need to survive. There could be other electives as-well if we are missing a course someone really wants and as along as we are in agreement to rotate courses every day we can have as many as 35 different classes if we have seven classes everyday. Honestly I would like few like 3-4 classes a day and then maybe clubs, PE might be a mandatory out of classroom class.

I would like to rule against wands. Quite frankly I don't see there purposes, I mean you are an all powerful wizard are you really going to be handicapped by a piece of wood? All of a sudden you can't cast spells because you don't have a stick really?!

However a stone or item you can keep in pocket and draw reserves of energy from sounds fine, this would include magical items(larger if needed like a sword or weapon is fine jsut run it by the group and myself or myself if I am dubbed admin and I will check you off). I have done a lot of reading where magic users store energy in something and draw on it when they need to cast a particularly large spell. They don't need it but it helps. Also I don't mind the use of staves as opposed to wands because a Crystal embedded staff would be a nice amplifier and or used to store energy also they make good weapons without needing magic.

Ragnaroc regards the dragon and whirls her hand through the darkness like a lazy fish through a stream, unimpressed. {Wow the little elf can actually do something.} "This is .... adiquit you will be monitored for the first few weeks of your employment and randomly observed afterwards if you meet my criteria the job will remain yours."

A little conversation I had with Ragnaroc that she felt we should have everyone approval on:

Alfred:"Hunter and I are both curious about ages...we both feel that we should be older since our races typically are longer lived than humans. Hunter being around 100 and myself being around 60-70...these being adolescent years for both demons and elves, both of us appearing to be in our 20's.

I thought it would be better to ask you rather than post this straight onto the RP thread. what is your opinion?"

Ragnaroc: Why Thank You for considering my opionion. ^_^ Genereally I have no problems with what is written above however Ragnaroc would not allow adolescents to teach her classes. I would appreciate if you made them of adult or of young adult age appropriate for your species. Ragnaroc is a fallen angel. She is probably a millennia or two old so feel free to shoot for the stars with age on my account anyway. ^_^

-------

Alfred: I really do want to specify how sorry I am again about confusing your gender. If it wasn't for Hunter pointing out to me all the times you said "Ms" I probably wouldn't have realised it...Honestly I thought you were calling me ms and I didn't understand why.

Also regarding my grammar. I am not entirely sure if you were just going with the Rp of if it actually frustrated you. I am playing the idiot..seems to suit me. I can be perfectly serious and sophisticated if you prefer.

Ragnaroc: (On the count of grammar nope that was just Ragnaroc pinpoint Alfreds weaknesses, I have no problems with it. ^_^)

Ragnaroc just regards the elf. "You have the job, I don't see how inflating your mistakes adds benefit to your case please ether do something of benefit or remove yourself from my office before I repeal my actions"

Alfred stands in the office staring at the principal for a moment...he raises his arms and wiggles his fingers making "oooh" noises and then poofs away to the hall outside the office and starts laughing like an insane mad man...

I would like playing a student teacher if I can.

Not a student of the school like the other students, but a teacher in training.

A teacher who does do (a few) classes and stuff, but only has been there a few months or so, and is age wise closer to the oldest students then some of the teachers. (this depends on how old the oldest students are though xp my character would be an adult, around 26 or something) Other teachers however do look over this one and give pointers and advice when needed. And this teacher works as an assistand to the other teachers in some classes. (so basicly this teacher does not have a lot of classes to teach on his/her own yet, and mostly helps out other teachers, learning from them, but he/she does teach on his/her own a litle bit or stands in when a teacher gets ill)

Is that ok? If yes I do not yet know if this teacher will be male or female or what specie.

I'll pick something when you guys give me green light.

As for wands: I agree with Rag. I am not fond of wands. However we could use wands to either make a person's magic more focused or more controlled ( or containing it in case the magic is to strong and would destroy stuff withoud chaneling it trough wands or staffs or anything like that). So I do like having wands/staffs/magical rocks etc. , but only as a way to control, focus and/or contain what is already there. (This is kinda what Rag said as well right?)

I am ok with teachers all being adults. That makes more sense. Real clever/strong young people can ''teach'' by helping their fellow classmates in class , not by giving a class. ( Because lets face it, some teachers are bad at explaining stuff that your classmates can explain to you )

Which brings me to this.
We should have a grumpy teacher. One that bugs students or doesn't explain properly. Maybe not as a character that one of us has to play, but as a character we all can play. A minor character.
