Honeycomb
She hears her name called, Honey whimpers. "N-no!" Her eys fly open and she sprints out the cave at a speed she did not know she had. Oblivious, she realizes she is awake when she smacks herself sideways against a big rock and falls down. Her paws burning and throbbing. She pants, staring at the morning. Letting it sink in that it was a dream. (I once had a nightmare that a cold hand grabbed my wrist. I woke up screaming and imediantly took to jerking my hand. Difference is my hand was actually caught in the metal bars of my bed)

Lily was scared. She whimpers and hinds in on of the comers.

Buck run back up to Honey, four birds in his mouth. "What happened!" He drops the food and sits by Honey. "Shh it's ok, it's ok."

Honeycomb
"they were chasing me.." Honey whimpers, hiding her face in the side of Buck's fur. She is shaking terribly, "They had guns and it was dark and.." She cannot seem to explain the nightmare, shivering. She tries to get a hold of herself, but is to spooked. It felt so real..

Buck did not want to tell her that is was most likely real. "It's ok, you can start a new here on the island. We can find you someone to mate with and then you can have a family." Buck also did not tell her that he wanted to be her so called mate, and that he truly loved her. "Come on now let's get you back to the den."

Honeycomb
Honey shivered, and looked up at Buck. She trusted him, and new he could keep her safe. So if he thought it would be best to go back to the den, she would. But she stands close to him, so her fur was pressed into his. She did not want to be hunted anymore, she did not want to have any more nightmares.

"So what are you looking for when it comes to someone to love?" He asks before he picks up the birds.

Honeycomb
Honey is shy to this question, but answers it. "Someone who will protect me..." She says quietly. "Someone who is gentle and will comfort me when I am sad." Honey walks with her ears laid back, but sways her tail. Almost a wag, but not quite. She feels safer next to Buck.

'Almost like me.' Buck thinks to himself. His tail wags. "Your a very beautiful dog, Honey." He blurts out. He lowers his head in shame.

Honey feels herself grow warm. She looks herself over; Patchy fur, bloody paws, ribs showing under her skin, how could she be beautiful? But she does not want Buck to think this has gone unappreciated. She nuzzles his cheek gently and then watches her paws. "Thank you" she whispers.

"Anytime." He mumbles around the birds. "So what do you think of puppies?" He stops himself. 'Stupid! Your moving to fast slow down or she will leave and you will never feel the same about anyone ever again!' He scolds himself. "I mean Lily."
