"Then you must have been very good," Sastrugi says. It's a tragic past to be sure, but since Hakaishin has overcome it, what reason does she have to offer sympathy instead of congratulations? Becoming someone strong is something worthy to be proud of. "Tiamat must have been quite stubborn at the time, to not have given up after the first ten minutes."

She clicks her tongue, almost chiding if not for the amusement in her eyes. "It was clearly a failed hunt at point. Much more efficient to find other prey. Though, if that's the reason the two of you worked together, he seems to have benefitted quite a bit from that mistake."

Meanwhile, the dragons inside the fort began to call out with shouts of alarm. Despite their confusion at seeing a SeaWing of all things, the defenders are quick to react. One flies out to intercept Tiamat, clutching a basket full of snow.

Hakaishin just smiled and nodded, looking into the distance, reminiscing of his old memories.

Tiamat grinned and flexed his webbed claws before tunneling into the snow before him, digging furiously and getting out of sight as snow flew out behind him to cover up the hole he made. Grinning, he began digging his way to the center of their base.

(Gonna quickly switch over to focusing on Tiamat, tell me if you want me to switch Sastrugi back :DD)

It doesn't take long for the defenders to realize that Tiamat is missing. "I lost sight of him," one shouts. Though they don't believe that he's given up, they're unable to realize exactly what Tiamat is doing. After all, who would expect a SeaWing to be so good at digging?

One of the four leaves to search for Tiamat, leaving three remaining to defend the base.

(All good!)

He chuckled and slowly began rising from the ground, occasionally letting the spines slip out of the snow on the sight of the drragons before slipping under the snow, Jaws style.

(Land sharks sound terrifying haha.)

Of course, the IceWings quickly notice Tiamat's teasing presence, just as he's intended. But how do you fight someone who's buried under the snow?

One of the friends chose to reapply a hunting strategy, waiting to catch a sight of the spines before breaking through the first layer of snow in a plunging maneuver. They come up empty, despite their glimpse at the expansive tunnels beneath.

It's about then that the nerves start, leaving the friends to peer around in unease, wondering exactly where their assailant can be. "What the hell," one says, more amused than frustrated. "How can someone dig so fast?"

The Seawing grinned and kept swimming around, his fin slowly rising and sinking in and out of the snow. It began to pulse and glow in an intimidating desolate. It slowly began closing in as strange hums filled the air, and growls made the snow rumble.

(Let's go, I get to see Tiamat's powers :D)

Under the influence of the bizarre droning, the air seems to come alive. It shakes, pulsing with high frequency vibrations. Unnerved but eager, the IceWings take to the skies one by one to avoid their attacker under the snow.

Their attention locks onto the bioluminescent fin gliding through the white sea, claws clutching snowballs as they prepare to ward off the SeaWing when he emerges.

Then it suddenly sank under the snow and the sounds and rumbling stopped. Then after a minute, they heard a massive roar as the Seawing burst from the snow behind them, splattering them with snow and coating them all over in white powder.

It was terrifying.

Then he smirked and said, *this is the party where you fly away.*

Suddenly, the friends find themselves buried under a thick layer of snow as a sky-shaking roar rings behind them. One reaches up with a fearful shiver and brushes their eyes free.

"Damn," he says, respect clear in his eyes. "Well, since you managed to get all of us alone, I guess we'll do just that. You deserve the fort." The IceWing brushes against the others, and they take off with quiet laughter, leaving the place to Tiamat.

It's perfect timing. A bell tolls, marking the end of the round.

He laughed and waved goodbye. *thanks! You were good sports!* he called, chucking. Then the bell rang and he laughed again, highly amused.
