Ariel reaches out to touch it before he pulls his hand out. He had been taught to ask to pet someone's animal before doing so. He pulls out his notebook and shows the magic message, "May I pet it?" He looks up at them with an earnest alertness.

"Yes. But beware- it is fragile." The cat stretches and yawns, showing little grey teeth and a silver tongue.

Ariel waits until the cat is done stretching before he rubs its chin and pets it between the ears. He is careful while petting the cat to make sure not to break it. "It's adorable!" He offers, the blue words sprawling across the floor. They disappear within seconds.

"Yes, it is. But I cannot let this feline exist for long- this ability is exhausting." They nod calmly, watching him and the cat.

Ariel looks up at them for a moment, his hands cupping the cats face. He tries to figure out if they are serious or not. "Do you want me to get you a cookie or strawberry shake? I can add bananas and apples to the shake if you want." The message is in the same spot as the previous one.

The cat is cold, and abnormally soft. It soundlessly purrs. "After I'm done here, I wouldn't mind that. I would never decline an offer of free food and beverage." Feidan casts him a slight smile.

Ariel nods and runs his hands through the cat's fur one last time before he brushes his hands off on his pants to get rid of imaginary fuzz, and picks up his notebook again. He flips to a random page and writes, "How long do the Force people like you have to stand in front of someone's house before they consider their job well done and finished so they can go get strawberry smoothies?"

"Well, I suppose I could... forget to clock out." Fei smirks, casually waving a hand, causing the shadow-cat to return back to ordinary shadow. "I wrote the wrong address anyways. The report says I am halfway across town."

"That's silly. If the Force wanted to look for you, it would be best if you were where you said you were. That would cause for a lot less panic when you don't clock out." Ariel then closes the book neatly and tucks it back into his pocket. Then he motions for them to follow and he trots into the house. He makes a beeline for the kitchen and uses the stool to get all the ingredients he needs. He then makes the strawberry, apple, banana smoothie. Once he's made enough for two, he gets out the cups and pours some for himself and for Fei. He then offers it to them. "Is it satisfactory?" Was written on the cup in a professional, business-like scrawl.

They calmly take a sip. "It's quite tasty."
