I haven't seen anyone else ask this recently and maybe I read over the tutorial too quickly. But what is advancement points and what are they for?

They're gained from doing things on the site- such as battling, breeding, nurturing, doing missions.
Currently they're only used for three things, which are buying new generator design save slots, buying base styles (eg, eyebrows, noses etc) in the wardrobe, and buying more party preset save slots on the party page.
However, it is intended that eventually there will be an AP shop (potential contents currently unknown)
