When you breed a pet, buy a pet, or generate a pet, (as far as I'm aware) the pets are not tested, even if you have an exceptional genetic testing kit. I myself am not a breeder, but I just had to genetic test 57 pets. It took me a half hour.
Having pets be automatically tested when they come into your possession (assuming you have the exceptional kit), would be a small but extremely useful quality of life change.

I agree. Even though I myself do not have a genetic test kit, I am saving up for one and plan to test all of my dozens of sylesties once I get it. This would be extremely useful.

I definitely like the idea of any pet bought being auto-tested (as long as you have the infinite test kit). I think that's the only one on your list that doesn't already exist.
If you have the infinite test kit, any egg you hatch is automatically tested at hatching, and generated pets can't actually be tested (but you can see all carries anyway, because they're generated pets). For tamed pets, as long as you have the infinite scanner, they're also automatically genetically tested.
So, yes, I support adding auto-testing on purchase to the infinite tester's abilities ^.^

It must only get auto-tested if you help them hatch. I had to go through my hatchery and test every single one.

Yes, you have to actually hatch them to get the auto-testing.
I believe that was a compromise for those that wanted the 'surprise' of seeing mutations show up when their hatchlings grew up when the auto-testing was implemented? Might have been an incentive to hatch the eggs rather than just wait the day or so to let them hatch on their own, too. Can't quite remember. It's been a while XD
Honestly, I forgot about that until you mentioned it since it's very rare for me to not hatch my eggs XP

All Bred Pets will now automatically be Genetically Tested as soon as they are bred assuming the player has a valid Exceptional Genetic Testing Kit.
I am not so sure I want to apply the same for purchasing Pets unless there was a toggle option somewhere and creating such an option would take more time than I'd want to invest atm on such a thing. Perhaps this will be an option once the Pet Broker is built.
