Hi! My name is Lex i'm 18 and my account is relatively new.
So please if there's any tips or knowledge you could pass down to me,,,, that would be AMAZING :P
i've played games KIND OF like this before(?) so i kind of have a tiny grasp of how things work lol
Anyway, i'm excited to try out everything this game has to offer and get to see some super cute babies as i grow :D
(can't wait to try breeding and genetics the most, looks like a blast)

Hello! Glad youre enjoying Sylestia, you are right it has so much to offer as well as an amazing community of players! ^^
Feel free to look around my stables/hatchery for pets you like! I probably wont sell stable pets, but you can try. I would also be open to breeding two pets!!!
What is your favorite species so far?
Also, just saying, DO NOT ask for better rewards! I got a PM saying that the person had wanted one...and then been kicked out of Esiors Haven. :O

Hello Lex! Nice to meet you!
First I would like to say that the colors you chose for your avi are stunning!
Do you have a favorite species in the game so far?
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
A few tips are:
- Don't go begging other players for things... it normally doesn't get you anything but a warning... However, if you offer money then you will most likely get the item you are after since a lot of people want to earn.
- MISSIONS! Always always always do missions, I would recommend getting 5-6 slots since the money will be earned back super fast
- Save your gold for festivals (we have spring fest coming up soon!) since if you participate you need gold for like... everything xD
- Don't catch pets unless they are themed(catch), purple star value (not always a good choice...), orange star value (depends I guess), or red star value (catch)
- If you breed random pets to try & sell their offspring, don't get your hopes up about it selling
- Breeding; green trait means carried, blue means visible, and purple means visible with a carried trait hidden behind it. The first letter in the alphabet (a, b, c) will be more dominant. If you breed a mother with a visible trait that says (AA) & a father that says (DD) then the offspring with have (AD) trait. Since the mother's trait came first in the alphabet. I hope this makes a tiny bit of sense xD
- Go through the forums when you are a newbie, a lot of people give discounts, do giveaways, and give stuff to them through the forums! It is best to see if you find something you like with a discount, as then you will be able to save more money.
- Themed pets are worth more, a themed pet has a 'tag' on its profile https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=6142750 this girl (if you scroll down) is a holly wreath zolnixi, you can see she has a gold star right? that means she is tagged. Tagged pets are exclusive or tamed & worth a lot more than Pure Bred ones. If you scroll down https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=6188651 <his profile page you can see a blue star, mother, and father. this means she is PB (purebred) and worth not as much as tagged. However, he can still sell faster & for more than normal not themed pets.
- Get 3 party slots as soon as possible! It's always worth it since you can't get pretty much anywhere with only 1 or 2.

You can ping someone to notify them of your post by clicking the little blue @ button at the bottom of their post. Along with typing their username into the "ping users" bar at the top of your post before you post it!
To "quote" their post just click the little gold speech bubble at the bottom o their post and it will bring you to a page that looks like a new forum post but with something that says "[QuoteID=##]" or something like that xD
To edit a post you have made click the pencil at the bottom of your post

The players have been totally awesome so far, you're so right :))
I did a look around your hatchery/stables and oh my god your pets are absolutely stunning! i like them all
My favorite species? that's a hard one, but i do love the look of the ryori, ferrikki, and the puffadore! ahh they're so cute

Hello lunadove and wow!!! Thank you for the tips, these were definitely VERY helpful and made perfect sense dw :D
(especially the one about themed pets and how the genetics work cause now i have an even better understanding thanks^^)
My favorite species is definitely either the ryori, ferrikki, or the puffadore <3 hopefully i can work up enough and get them all

haha, you already bought him so no turning back now! Enjoy him!! I tend to try and give tagged pets as gifts, since they are less likely to be a waste of stable space once you get farther into the game ^-^
