Welcome to The Next Twn Over! Or as the residents call it, SouthGlen. Nobody who settles down here leaves SouthGlen and to the passerby, the town seems quite quaint... and oddly familiar. Everyone nearby only calls it the next town over, not many people know why and those who do, live there.
On the surface, SouthGlen is a happy town with a very happy population of five hundred "humans" seemingly stuck in the 1980s/90s. But, people who stay long enough come to realize that SouthGlen isn't very human at all, the human faces are only veils for what people would see as atrocities to hide behind. Though the residents are friendly and rather welcoming if they catch wind that a human is trying to report them, that person will be shipped off to the town's mental hospital on account of them going crazy and being a hazard to themself and others.
The residents of SouthGlen have a wide range of characteristics; ranging from object heads to cryptids, and even to a possessed Radio system that is the mayor.
Alright, after all the lore I'll just give you the premise. SouthGlen is literally just a community for purely creative characters, you can do whatever as long as they aren't literal gods. You can play as one of the long time residents with your own purely creative creation, or play as a human, either trying to make the best of the situation that their families got into, or they can try and unveil what is really going on, and search for something deeper than what is.
The roleplay is going to be a casual roleplay without much of a storyline, you are welcome to come and go as you please, I will only do group pings when needed. Also, your non-human characters should be inspired by Weirdcore/Dreamcore/Oddcore/Webcore to keep the premise of strange in the roleplay. (They can be an adamant mushroom with eyes for all I care)
