This was just thought up, so it might not be the best, but thought I would get it out anyway.

One thing I have noticed is that the main festivals tend to be, or at least it seems so to me, pushed back so that they no longer follow their 'namesakes'. IE, spring fest in June, which is just *barely* still spring.

So, my proposal, at some point in the future when Krin can code it, is to have the fests start on their respective first days of their seasons.

Now, what to do about the mini-fests? Add them to the festivals if need be.

Take the Week of Love/Fortune/Easter event.

If they fell during the spring fest, then when week of love came around, extra tasks would be added, and the mini-event specific bosses would be added to the fest zones, so that players can hunt for both at one time. IE, they can do spring fest tasks while still doing week of love tasks.

Like, for week of love, we had to do 500 nurtures a day and I think most fests are 100? so, doing 100 nurtures would complete the festival task, and count for 100 towards the week of love nurture task.

Most of the mini-fests are much lower key than the main fests, and so I think they could be integrated nicely into the larger fests, should their time slots happen to coincide.

Any mini-fest not scheduled for a slot when a larger festival is active would be like they are now.

If a mini-fest happens to be ending just as a main fest is beginning, it would be like it is now, where we could still do fortune week stuff (got a couple of tickets today) while still doing the easter event stuff. Same thing for events beginning just as main fests are ending.


I just know that I, for one, would love having the main festivals be fairly predictable (they don't have to start exactly on their respective 'first day of's but at least close) as to when they happen, and I think this could help with adding new events in, should that ever come up, because there would be no need to worry about overlapping two festivals.


AS I said, this just occurred to me and is probably a horrible idea :P and it definitely is something for the future, and not any time soon, if it happens to be a good one.

Personally, I'd like this. But, there'd probably have to be breaks in-between. If it's just one fest after another, it'd get stale after a while. So maybe seasonal fests end a month before the next one begins?

Each Seasonal fest is about a month long, so there would actually be two months between each main fest.

For instance, this year Spring Began on March 20th. Summer Begins June 20th.

The spring fest would go until April 20th (give or take a day or so) and the Summer fest would begin on June 20th.


I do agree about there needing to be a break between them, which is sort of why I suggested this. Since I started, I noticed that, usually in order to have a break, fests seem to start later and later, because of the mini-fests, and when one main fest starts later, it means the subsequent one needs to start later and so on. (at least this is how it seems to me)

They're only a month..? I could've sworn they were longer than that. In any case, as long as there's breaks I'd be all for having a more concise schedule.

As far as I know they are typically only a month, with usually about a week at the end after the main fest ends to tie up loose ends.
