Welcome friends to the Weekly Sylestia Tamers Contest!
This is a trial run to what I hope to make a fun weekly event IF it gets enough interest. Each week will have a small reasonable set of requirements for pet entries that week and each user may submit up to 2 Sylesties per week for judging to earn badges, ribbons, and fun prizes!
Rules:
- Be kind and courteous. =)
- All entries MUST be TAMED Sylesties.
- All Pet birthdays MUST fall within the contest week (so we can all see they were caught for that week and tamers actually put in the work).
- Entries MUST fit the requirements for the week to qualify.
To Enter:
- Please include the theme of the week in your post
- Post your entry pet/s here in the forum with an image of the pet and their link so I can verify birthday
- Please ping me in your entries
This inaugural week will have NO ENTRY FEE for the contest while I see how much work and gold it takes to run the contest and get prizes ready and badges designed. Donations are welcome though. =D
Judging & Prizes:
For now Everyone will earn the Weekly Badge for participating in the contest and then I will pick the pet submitted that week that I feel BEST represents the theme, and is the prettiest to get a Best in Show ribbon/badge + prize (a pet, item, etc.).

Week 2- March 27- April 5
Theme: Easter Bunnies!
Hippity, Hoppity, Easters' on its way! Head out and catch the most beauteous bunnies this week tamers!
**Remember this isn't a design contest it is a taming contest, pets must be caught from the wild during the theme week to be entered.** =)
Weekly Requirements
Breed: Bulbori
Colors: Any colors this week
Genes: 1 Visual gene OR Mutation
Showoff: 1+ sentence about what you like about Easter OR what you like about Spring if you do not celebrate Easter. =D
I didn't want to go all green, so I put some purple in there. It is representing the color green(which is pretty clear) but I like to think that they represent mint as well.

Thanks so much for being the first person to be interested in the contest! =D
I just wanted to refer you back to the main post for reference. This is a weekly Sylesti Taming/Catching contest. The challenge is to catch a WILD Sylesti that fits the weekly requirements, not design one. I really do love that bright Nixi design you shared though, and I really hope you do enter the contest.

I researched this but there has been "witches" in Ireland even though it was really woman that is normal. Society has always feared powerful woman. Many of Ireland's Witches come from a much-loved healer, a successful seamstress seen as a bit too high and mighty, four-times-married moneylender, and eight women from Islandmagee. With the trait on this Zolnixi I thought this would fit with the history from Ireland in the 17th century.
