I combined a candy heart set, but didn't get an egg. Is it random and I just had bad luck or do I need to do something else? I only had the one set which took a lot of time nurturing to get(I can't do battles for candy as I don't have the venue), Sorry if the answer is obvious. I'm still new and this is my first event.

You dont alwais get an egg, in fact you have more chance to get a avi item (eather from this year or as a retired avi box). If you manage to open 8 set however, you will automaticly get a rendom themmed egg as a reward.

Ah ok. I dont think I will make it to 7 more sets. I almost have enough for a second set thanks to some duplicates, but yeah no where near enough for 8 total. Thanks for letting me know.
