In the forums, there are RPG's and RP's. I know that RPG's are role playing games and RP's is roleplaying, but i am a bit confused on the difference between them. If someone would be so kind and explain the difference? Thx!!

The simple way to explain rpgs and rps are that rpgs generally have a set plot set by a gm/dm which is generally the person who makes the group and runs it.
Rpgs are in line moreso with tabletop games like DND and may also use things like stat/combat systems and more restricted character creation. Most RPGs have you roleplaying against the DM. It plays a lot more like a *game* than a roleplaying story.

RPs on the other hand (generally) tend to be more freeform with plots and the plots that happen in RPs can generally be influenced by everyone and is more of a collaborative story overall. Characters and combat are both far less restricted.
