How do you remove a background? I've tried to remove the party background multiple times, to no avail. You should just have to click on the little red minus sign next to the background, right?

The red minus sign is to take the item out of the wardrobe. c:
To take off an item, like the confetti, you just click on the item anywhere in the respective box. It un-highlights the item, and your avatar stops wearing it. ^^
