i've been exploring the howling pass for awhile, and i have around three to four snowy owl nytekrie's, almost all of which have moon armor. is this just a coincidence or is it something specific to a theme?

It's just RNG. Moon Armor is just a normal trait, and Snowy Owls are just normal themes. The only themes this fest that have specific traits are the ones made with the majestic frost essences:
Perma-Frostfeather Griffi
Dawnbreaker Nephini
Auroral Dragon Ny'vene
Dragon Glacier Zolnixi

so just a coincidence? that's so weird because i keep getting all female snowy winter owl nytes with moon armor. just my luck, too. i am not a big fan of the breed. anyways, thanks for telling me ^^

Yup. Just a coincidence.

You just got lucky, or unlucky in this case but moon armor is one of the two avalable genes for M1 witch may have played into this as well, the odds of it happening are still very low tho. So far, there have never been any wild themmed with it's genetic locked, the only time i can recal where this have happen for non-restricted traits were the luff-bonnies during the easter event (exclusive pets, not wild) who had all of their possibilities of mutations locked outisde of M1: Bunny Tail, M2: Loopy ears and M3 : Neck Bow.
