What if there was a way to search by original owner? I always find it annoying if i can't find a pet i gave to someone, if the re-named it or if it didn't have a name, and i have to go through a list of pets to find it. this is short so yeah... I also want to see what happens to pets once I sell them... it is just an idea ^^

I'd like this. Makes it easier to see where my babies end up.
Edited: realized my other point didn't really make sense for this suggestion

Somewhat against this since I've already witnessed quite a bit of conflict over what's done with pets.
Selling is definitely a complete transfer of ownership but it doesn't necessarily stop hurt feelings over a pet being released, for example. If people were able to track down everything they've ever sold or given away, I can imagine it'd cause some issues.

I've never seen any player who's been here more than a few months be offended by that pet being released. If they were selling the pet they wouldn't be too attached to it- I can't imagine anybody other than a newbie getting upset about this.
I support the idea- it's very simple, and I'm always happy to know somebody had better use for the pet than I did, even if that use was just to release it.
