I love finding a themed or legendary pet or as much as the next person, but sometimes I just want to stroll around and fight named/find chests. Even when not in a fest map I kept having moments where I would encounter like up to five enemies in the same spot and I couldn't move!!! I was just trying to do my quests and it wasted so much time. I think there should be an item like a perfume that would ward off a certain amount of encounters(besides named ideally). It probably wouldn't be as much use in non fest areas because many quests need you to kill stuff, but I'm not sure.

Also, this could be a little too wacky and might not be doable but here's an idea: what if it could be used with themed pet perfume? Like the repellant blocks encounters by itself, but if used with a perfume it only blocks non themed? It wouldn't make it so you only come across themed or anything, the chances would be the same, maybe you still don't find any themed. It just blocks the non-themed encounters. Maybe this would be too hard to code but I don't think it would be too crazy of an item? Just makes it more pleasant to explore! Plus you still wouldn't be able to come across legendary pets, complete the defeating enemies fest task easily, or get on the defeating enemies leaderboards, so it's not all good. Again, this one might be a little too crazy but it's just an idea!


1. Enemy repellant - Lasts for what would be 50 encounters(or something like that? I think it should last a bit more than a perfume at least)
2. Premium enemy repellant - Lasts for what would be 100 encounters(or something like that?)
3. Themed pet perfume(lost grove or fest) + Enemy repellant - lasts for as long as both are active. If the repellant is for like 50 encounters and the perfume is for like 20 encounters, the combo lasts for 20, but the repellant will have 30 more would-be encounters after.
4. Edit: I thought of another idea! A type of repellent or something that just increases your chances of running away successfully! This could work for longer maybe cause it's not as big of a change, it just boosts your running away ability and doesn't block any enemies.

Also, you get updates on your log thingy for perfumes, maybe it could say when it blocks an enemy so you know how much longer it will work?

Okay, that's all I have for now but let me know what you think or if you have any ideas! Also I totally understand if you don't support the combo thing but the main idea is just the repellant cause I know the combo could be a bit too OP! :b

i would be too worried about missing themed nephs in those encounters. i can see why this is wanted though. walking from one boss to another would make your boss run quicker
