All humans have some sort of Core Trait that stand out in them, whether it be that they are very intelligent or that they have an affinity with death. But only a few can be considered Harbingers of these idolized portrayals of existence; every part of their life stemming from these things whether they know it or not.
Harbingers are given special powers (specific to them and their Core Trait), but they are at their best when their affinity is focused on them and as time goes on... Though, strange abilities tend to show themselves and get stronger as they age.
Now, every Harbinger has a counter part, a Yin to their Yang, a Life to their Death and so on. These counterparts are to be relied on, they're there to reign in their other. Harbinger counterparts may be a total stranger or a childhood best friend. This bond can be comprehended in a matter of different relationship types but what should be well known is that when they meet the Harbingers will get a long distance telepathic bond allowing for an easier going work relationship.
And yes, you might be wondering how many harbingers are there- there are six core traits but there are atleast ten kids per trait. But each and every one of them have a counter part destined to them by fate.
The beasts outside are the enemy, fauna that has been corrupted from a virus- turning them into violent beasts that feed off of terror and malice. Some Harbingers have been corrupted aswell, though they aren't mindless beasts like the others. They have been corrupted by broken bonds and inhaling whatever the beasts have. Not many know who or what these people are and what they want because they don't last long enough to tell or find out.
Now that we got lore details out of the way, allow me to further explain the setting and direction of the plot! Harbingers is set in a future universe (2,000 years to be exact.) on a planet called Absolem. The planet has many colonies but a singular main city (Pasthenium) that floats above the vast forests that covers the planet.
The style of the roleplay is Cyberpunk with an Edwardian twist. Every one has some sort of technology and weapons because of the vile creatures covering the planet, but only Pasthenians have the most well-developed anything. Though they are willing to trade for any child that can be, potentially, a Harbinger. (Or they'll sell their stuff for impossible amounts of money)
These kids are then shipped to a school to be taught how to protect their city from the beasts outside. But the children go through harsh training, often picking off the weak before too long and yet, Harbingers still struggle with the monsters if they don't excel.
The goal is that our group of Harbingers are in their second to last year of training and quite a couple of them don't exactly like following orders. Though, the entire group is extremely skilled with their weapons and fighting tactics so they can get away with quite a bit. Though, they end up going through a rabbit hole of trying to find out why there are beasts and Harbingers and why the Core Traits (gods) left them. This ends them getting in trouble with their school and planet's government, therefore they're going to be hunted down by both the government and the Fallen.

His power is more of a spite thing, he can sustain massive amounts of damage and can heal small wounds in rapid succession with little to no pain. When his abilities finish doing their thing he becomes increasingly tired because it simply zaps his energy. (He is not at all invincible and his abilities can be used once every few hours for a maximum of five minutes. He's essentially a tank.)
(Yes he has used it to keep himself alive as he lit himself on fire to be thrown into a hoard of beast- He will do it again.)

Personality:
Aryn is the apathetic ****** of the group, almost never giving a thought to anyone else's feelings. He doesn't even care about himself, he only exists to spite everyone and lives off of energy drinks. By now, he has accepted his own mortality and constantly makes off-handed jokes out of it. Aryn is very morbid, usually meaning no harm/not meaning to be that way.
Aryn is also rather lazy, often laying around and sleeping until he's needed or he gets to shred some beasts. School-wise he's constantly late and he doesn't seem to care much about it and yet he excels, especially in physical training. He can't focus on things for too long unless he absolutely invests himself in it, which is a whole other process in itself. When Aryn is bored he goes to his counterpart for some sort of entertainment whether it be that they sit and read or he's passed onto someone else - eventually he finds his way back to them and annoys them until he's satisfied. Even if Aryn is brash and quite repulsive, he knows when to be gentle and that only shows to very few people. Often, when he feels like being nice to someone, he gives them a tiny trinket or cool rock he found, often casually adorning people he likes with them; he'd never admit he likes them, though. (Only special people know about his collections.)
(He believes just because he came in a year earlier than others and was seen as a bit of a special snowflake he could slack off.)
Likes:
+ Energy drinks, they have officially replaced water.
+ Getting out of things he doesn't want to do.
+ Setting things on fire. (Which is why he's not allowed in the kitchen.
+ Shredding stuff.
+ Getting attention for being a idiot.
+ Music and anything creative.

+ Mindless vandalism/violence, it's a good way to relieve stress.

Dislikes:
- Being restrained from his full potential.

- Form-fitting/tight clothing. (He Likes it when his clothes can easily be shed if needed.

Strengths:
+ He can copy almost anyone's voice.
+ He's very strong, could probably throw you.
+ Could pass as a lady if needed.
+ He's just cute enough not to get murdered.
+ Incredibly skilled with heavyweight weapons.
+ Always has a energy drink on him.
Weaknesses:
- He can get incredibly annoying.
- He needs to drink water. (He literally needs to take better care of himself.)
- He rellies too much on his abilities.
- Aryn is way too chaotic for his own good.
- Really bad emotional constipation.
- Anger issues.
- He can't focus on menial things.
Backstory:
Aryn was administered to the school a year earlier than other Harbingers. His colony was in dept to the city foe having a group of Harbingers sent out because of a monster problem and by the time he was twelve he was already an obviously skilled Harbinger; discovered after he fell from a roof and came out unharmed- for the most part. His family decided to send him away without second thought, not wanting to waste even more resources.
Aryn was a fantastic student for the first few years, understanding what to do and what not to do, throughout that time he wondered why his parents sent him to a prison. Eventually (When he turned fifteen), he gave up on trying to push himself, knowing that the school couldn't really do anything, knowing that they couldn't erase such a valuable life form. He wouldn't have cared anyway if they did attempt to cut him off.
When the students got around to choosing their weapons, Aryn knew what he was going to get. He found the biggest chainsaw he could find, modded it to his liking, and bam, a perfect weapon for a chaotic neutral. Though the weapon was extremely heavy, he pulled through, working out just enough for training to be comfortable until his body got used to the weight and power behind his weapon.

He doesn't talk about them much, he's still salty about being given up on a whim.

Power: Decay: How it works is that he has to have five fingers touching it and it takes awhile but he can't kill himself. (Credit goes to the manga/anime My Hero Academia and the person whose quirk that I got it from is Tomura Shigaraki )

Personality: Virgil has a cold demeanor to those that he doesn't trust. If you gain his trust you have his loyalty. Virgil only shows his kind side with younger kids and people he trust. He doesn't like to talk much but when he does it's usually important or they need advise on small things. He doesn't like to touch people without his gloves on. He has anxiety and depression but he doesn't show it if he does then he must really trust you if you see him have an panic attack. He doesn't want to lose anyone he trust. He doesn't get mad but when he does he will get you in someway.

He has the third highest score in the school and doesn't follow some of the rules. When he got to choose their weapon he went straight to the scythe and took one (The image below in equipment). He begin to train in secret on mastering the scythe with his gloves(Image in equipment).

Power: It work like a sixth sense, acting like a radar and allowing him to notice the presence of others faster then others would. It also work in reverse, allowing him to conceal his presence for a longer period of time. This isn't an invisibility thing he is just so in tune with the area that he is perceved as part of it so it will take alot longer for him to be noticed as long as he dosn't stay directly in the ligne of sight and dont make too mutch noise/fast movements.
(This on top of being naturaly quiet make him a perfect spy/silent killer or you know, make him hear stuff he wasn't suposed to hear by accident)
Harbinger: Peace
Personality: The exact type of person who you would expect would turn his bedroom into a bonzai garden somhow. He isn't the most vocal around, his motto is "if you dont have anything important to say, dont speak" witch can lead him to be a bit of a wallflower at time. When he isn't studying, training or reading he spend his time meditating, it may not look like mutch but over the years, practicing various styles of meditation have allowed him to be very flexible. It is very difficult for him to keep a grudge so if he does, it's more then warented, the same goes with anger. For the most part he begrugingly tolerate his counterpart but on his end the relationship is similar to how a cat tolerate a puppy, as long as they are not trying to get a reaction out of him he is alright with them being around but the moment they start picking on him to anoy him he leave the room as soon as humanly possible, if he cant he will deffinitively get grumpy about it. His way to show his apreciation of others is by gestures more then words, if he care about you he will be more open sometime to the point of even ignoring his own motto, more protective and more trusting of you. Unless you ask him directly it may not be noticeable, especialy at first, but a good signe of it would be if he let you come closer of his bonzais or tell you their names.
Likes:
Bonzais, he have 3 of them and they all have a name (they may just be plants but they are realy important to him so he named them)
Public places like librairy and others areas where loud noises are not accepted
Meditation, it's probably the best thing he have found to relax
clean / organised places, he will avoid the area otherwhise as too mutch clutter get on his nerves
Practicing with his wearpons
Dislikes:
People going near his Bonzais, if you get too close and he dosn't trust you, he wont hesitate to pull his wearpon out to make you back off
Loud noises, it startle him
Messes / messy places
being grabbed, he is fine with phisical contacts he just feel trapt when held onto especial for long periodes of times
Strengths:
Can wiggle his way in or out of any opening due to how flexible he is (within raison, his head have to be able to fit in the gap)
Have a very high amount of patience for about anything else then his counterpart
Since he work with / care for very small and delicate trees his control with a blade is almost chirurgical
Very organised in everything he does
While he isn't the most talkative, he can be quite interesting to speak with once you get him going
While not primarely relying on his power, it is very difficult to sneak up on him, it's not impossible of course but it have to be a lucky deliberated attempt or a moment where he is too stress / too tired to detect you in time
Weaknesses:
Accidentaly stumble onto things he wasn't suposed to see/witness because of how quiet he is
Get lonely easily but dosn't want to bother people about it
Have a tendancy to overwork himself
Rarely think his opinion is important so rarely speak about what he realy think
Not good with handeling high amount of stress, he nead to meditate every days otherwhise he act alot meaner and more agressive then he normaly would be
He never lock the doors, eather because he dont see the point / forget about it
Backstory:
He was a child of the system, not realy an orphan per say but a child that his parents coudn't care for so was left behind in hope to give him a better life. Due to some unlucky turn of events the first five years of his life were spent without a familly. During that time, an old men, Yirvs, was volunteering at the hospital and overtime got attached to the small boy. Oris was already becoming too old to stay with the todlers anymore and should already have been sent away if it wasn't for a space issue in the orphenage. In an effort not to send the child across the dangerous territory outside the town, Yirvis offered to take care of him and eventualy what was originaly suposed to be a temporary thing became an official adoption.
If there is one thing he have enherited from his adopted grandfather it's his love for bonzais. Taking care of somthing so old and so small yet capable to outlive everyone you know and will ever know seemed almost like magic for him. Knowing that those dwarf trees were grown, cared for and raised by several generations made them into somthing very precious, like if they were holding the wishes and hopes of countless people within them.
Unlike most peoples he actualy wanted to be part of this and protect the city, this may be part of why he was able to last and become as good as he is today. When the time came to pick his wearpon he went with what was the closest thing to a pair of scisor he could find, meaning that a set of dual blades were perfect for him tho he didn't bother with customisation so far.
Family: He know he have a mother a father and several siblings still alive as far as he know but that's about as mutch information as he have on his birth family. He see the Yirvis, the men who adopted him, like a grandfather more then a father figure witch is somthing the old men was more then ok with.
Love Interest: open ! (He is probably not going to realise it at first, mainly because he isn't expecting it )

Two swords, nothing too exceptional about them outside of the fact that they remain as sharp and clean as the day they were made. He is not going to accept anything less then perfection when it come to the only thing standing between him and certain death so he take very good care of his blades when it come to keep them clean and sharp.

Hey, Lovador! Please finish/make more progress on your character soon!
Cian, your character looks fantastic so far! I feel really bad for him, but not to worry, Aryn should start to soften up after he gets used to him. Xd

Done ! I think those two interacting togedther will have an interesting dynamic, it's probably going to be a gradual thing but Oris will eventualy go from bearly tolerating Aryn to just being used to the guy's antic and considere him as somwhat of a friend/brother once the two have a well established telepatic bond.
