Is there a way I can reset my account?

From my knowledge, no, there is no way to reset your account. The best way to start fresh would be to release/sell/giveaway all of your pets and everything in your inventory. It is also against site rules to create another account, even if you abandon this one, so I would highly recommend not doing that if you do not want to face the consequences.

Of course there will be some things on your current account that cannot be reset, such as your level. This might be the same with getting a new starter pet (I'm unsure if you can do this, but if you are able to, you would be required to PM Krin.)
You will also get no new "second" pet like you do at the start of the game, meaning that when you go into the wild to try and find a Sylesti as your second pet, it is not guaranteed to be the same species of your starter, nor is it guaranteed to be a 2-vis.

"Resetting" your account like this will mean that your current progress of adventuring, where you are now in the storyline, you will not be starting out at the very beginning, you will be continuing where you left off.
