That all depends on what other traits the pet has. I wouldn't be able to recommend something spotty like Dalmation (EE) if the rest of the traits are more stripey, or something stripey like Runic Swirl (BB) if the other traits are more spotted.

What's the full trait setup you intend to use? I see quite a few options listed above that have me quite torn on picking a favorite combo o.o

Strictly based on making the more cohesive gene combo effect with the Fairy Petals, I like Flecked (KK) on the mane. Flecked brings in a bit of the bright spottiness you see on the limbs, especially when looking at the tail and legs.

But when you start to add mutations into the mix it can quickly make things way too busy. Simpler mutations tend to work better since they let the genes be the focus rather than competing for it.

Take Ornamental Helm, for example; the subtle gray blending to yellow works similar to the front shoulder markings and hind quarters from Fairy Petals, which helps to build on the trait cohesion by bringing the grey/yellow blend up into part of the mane.

Meanwhile, traits like Frosty Wind tend to just muddy up the overall aesthetic by throwing in too much excess that doesn't really fit in with the other two.

Frosty Wind would be better complemented by something like Runic Swirl, since both have a "swirly flow" kind of appearance.
