So I have 2 pets on my team - Iridescent, at level 19, and Wispleaf, at level 14.
I go into the Trollsblight Cavern, fight a few enemies and realize that Iridescent's exp counter hasn't go up.
I click on View and it says that Wispleaf has earned 119 exp, a bit higher than normal, however Iridescent has only earned 1. I fight a few more battles, at the same thing happens.
Why is my pet only getting 1 exp from battles?

This is because your pet is too high level for that area. Go to more difficult battling areas?
