it's nowhere near the winter fest but I'd noticed this going through my inventory,,, where it says it expires in 1969

Yea. It's a known issue. I'm still in the midst of converting all festival-related items into a special auto-controlled category. So it's all just kinda wonky.
I plan on pushing the system further sometime during this current Festival.
