If a trait slot has a hidden trait (vis + carried) would that trait slot still be eligible to be replaced into a restricted trait by an RTD?

Hiddens have no effect on if they can be used. All that matters is that there are 2tp in a single slot

The one exception to what Scath said is if the hidden is also a restricted trait, then it cannot be replaced.
Or if they have a hidden from the same trait set as the RTD youre trying use.
